Ms. Chandra has been working in early childhood education since 2023 and brings a warm, creative, and thoughtful presence to the AcademyOne team. She holds a Technical Certification in Information Technology, has earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Cincinnati.

Outside of work, Chandra enjoys reading, building and painting wooden projects, baking, and cooking. A quote that inspires her is, “You never get anywhere or get anything new in life if you never try,” reflecting her belief in embracing new opportunities and continuing to grow.

Hello, my name is Laura Fout. I am proud to be part of the AcademyOne community, where I have the privilege of supporting children, families, and educators each day. There is nothing more meaningful to me than watching children grow in confidence, discover their strengths, and feel safe and valued in their classroom. I also truly enjoy supporting teachers in their professional growth and helping create an environment where both children and staff can thrive.

I believe that strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. I strive to lead and teach with warmth, patience, and consistency, always remembering that meaningful learning happens through connection and trust. I believe in teaching from the heart, encouraging steady progress, and celebrating each child’s individual journey.

Outside of school, I enjoy walking, biking, reading, attending movies and live productions, and spending time with my family. I am an animal lover and share my home with two cats, two dogs, a bearded dragon, and a guinea pig. I am also a proud mother of three children, two sons and one daughter, and being a parent continues to shape the care and understanding I bring to my work.

My favorite children’s book is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn because of its gentle reminder that children carry love and reassurance with them wherever they go. Two quotes that guide me each day are, “One step at a time is still moving forward,” and “Teach from the heart, not the book,” both of which reflect my belief in patience, connection, and lifelong growth.

Madison loves creating meaningful learning opportunities and enjoys watching children explore, discover new skills, and celebrate their accomplishments. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, making memories with family, and embracing life’s everyday adventures.

Ms. Lauren has been working in early childhood education since 2018 and brings years of experience, patience, and heart to the AcademyOne team. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Cincinnati.

Lauren has a natural ability to connect with young children and is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, loved, and ready to grow. She enjoys watching children reach new milestones, build confidence, and discover new skills while developing strong partnerships with families.

Outside of the classroom, Lauren enjoys cooking, trying new recipes, exploring the outdoors, and traveling. A former competitive gymnast, she later spent 10 years coaching at Buckeye Gymnastics—the same gym where she once trained. Her favorite children’s book is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss, and she believes in encouraging children to explore, take chances, and believe in themselves. Lauren’s calm, caring presence makes a lasting impact on everyone she meets.

Ms. Marley has been working in the early childhood education field since 2022 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Cincinnati and is passionate about building meaningful relationships that help children feel safe, valued, and confident as they learn and grow. Marley loves getting to know each child’s unique personality and creating a welcoming classroom where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys playing volleyball, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. A fun fact about Marley is that she worked at Starbucks for two years and knows the menu inside and out, so she’s always happy to recommend a favorite drink. She also speaks a bit of Spanish and enjoys using it to connect with children and families from diverse backgrounds. One of her favorite children’s books is I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More! by Karen Beaumont because of its creativity, humor, and encouragement of self-expression. Guided by her favorite quote, “Love the life you live, live the life you love,” Marley believes that joy, meaningful relationships, and encouragement help children develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Ms. Tiffany brings more than 22 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education to AcademyOne. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education Administration. Tiffany is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences. She especially enjoys planning engaging activities, fostering creativity, and watching children build confidence as they discover new concepts. Outside of the classroom, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Casper, traveling, visiting family, photography, and writing. She is also a published children’s book author and illustrator, combining her love of literacy, creativity, and imagination to inspire young learners. With decades of experience and a dedication to hands-on learning, Tiffany creates meaningful educational experiences that help children develop curiosity, confidence, and a strong foundation for future success.

Ms. Kiara has been working in the early childhood education field since 2020 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Columbus State University and is passionate about creating a structured, nurturing classroom where every child feels supported, confident, and excited to learn. Kiara’s favorite part of teaching is knowing she is making a positive impact in the lives of young children. She loves watching children build confidence, discover new skills, and explore the world around them while celebrating each milestone along the way. Outside of the classroom, Kiara enjoys shopping for unique finds, reading, baking sweet treats, and spending time with family and friends. A fun fact about Kiara is that she was born just eight minutes before becoming a Taurus, making her an Aries by only a few minutes. She also speaks a bit of French and enjoys learning about different languages and cultures. One of her favorite children’s book series is Junie B. Jones because of its humor, imagination, and the confidence it inspires in young readers. Guided by her favorite quote, “This is anything but easy, but you are anything but weak,” Kiara believes that perseverance, encouragement, and believing in every child’s potential help build the confidence they need to succeed.

Ms. Hannah has been working in the early childhood education field since 2022 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Cincinnati and is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and build confidence in a nurturing and supportive environment. Hannah’s favorite part of teaching is watching children reach new milestones, discover new skills, and develop meaningful relationships while partnering with families to support each child’s growth. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and exploring new places. Having visited six different countries, Hannah loves learning about different cultures and experiences. One of her favorite children’s book series is Fancy Nancy because it encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Guided by her favorite quote, “The only way to have a friend is to be one,” Hannah believes that kindness, empathy, and genuine relationships help children feel valued, supported, and confident as they learn and grow.

Charlie has been a valued member of the AcademyOne team since 2022 and brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for children to the classroom. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is passionate about helping young children build confidence, independence, and new skills through hands-on learning and exploration.

Charlie loves watching children grow and develop over time, celebrating their accomplishments and building meaningful relationships with each child. She believes some of the best learning happens when children are encouraged to explore, try new things, and learn through experience.

Outside of work, Charlie enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring the outdoors, off-roading in their Jeep, and discovering new trails and scenic spots. She also enjoys skateboarding, longboarding, and painting. Her favorite children’s book is No, David! by David Shannon because of the special memories it brings from reading with her younger brother. Charlie’s fun-loving personality and creative spirit help create a classroom where learning is joyful, meaningful, and engaging.

Ms. Kata has been working in the early childhood education field since 2021 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they learn, grow, and build confidence during their early years. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children develop new skills, discover the world around them, and build meaningful relationships while partnering with families to help every child reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, Kata enjoys playing soccer, spending time in her garden, and being outdoors. She finds joy in helping things grow—whether it’s flowers, vegetables, or young children. A proud mom to a wonderful daughter, she says motherhood has taught her the value of patience, love, and encouragement. One of her favorite children’s books is Llama Llama Misses Mama by Anna Dewdney because it helps children build confidence and navigate separation with reassurance and comfort. Guided by her favorite verse, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6), Kata believes that love, patience, and encouragement during a child’s earliest years create the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and success.

Ms. Dominique has been working in the early childhood education field since 2012 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. With more than a decade of experience, she is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children grow, gain confidence, and celebrate new accomplishments while building meaningful relationships that help them feel safe and secure. Outside of the classroom, Dominique enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, as family is at the heart of everything she does. A fun fact about Dominique is that she has a beautiful singing voice and loves bringing music, laughter, and joy into the classroom by singing with the children throughout the day. She is passionate about helping children develop confidence and resilience that will serve them throughout life. Guided by her favorite quote, “You have to train your mind to be stronger than your feelings, or else you will lose yourself,” Dominique believes that patience, encouragement, and a positive mindset help children build the confidence and skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Ms. Isabella has been working in early childhood education since 2021 and brings dedication, compassion, and a nurturing spirit to the AcademyOne team. She completed two years of Early Childhood Education studies at Columbus State Community College and earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.

Isabella is passionate about supporting children’s growth and helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. She enjoys creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore, learn, and grow.

Outside of work, Isabella enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family. She is an avid reader and is always looking for her next great book. Her favorite children’s book is A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon because of its message about embracing individuality and being comfortable with who you are. Isabella’s warmth, kindness, and dedication help create a classroom where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn.

Ms. Natalie has been working in early childhood education since 2025 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She plans to continue her education by pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Natalie especially loves the unique full-circle experience of teaching at the same school she attended as a child under Ms. Bojana’s care, and she enjoys watching children build confidence, curiosity, and independence each day.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys crocheting, painting, coloring, making bracelets, spending time with friends, and cheering on her favorite hockey and baseball teams. Her favorite children’s book is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss because of its inspiring message about embracing challenges and believing in yourself. Guided by her favorite verse, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5), Natalie strives to create a classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Ms. Bri has been working in the early childhood education field since 2022 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Bri loves creating a classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore new ideas while building confidence through every milestone they achieve. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys creating art, trying new creative projects, and spending time with family and friends. She loves finding ways to combine creativity with learning to make every day engaging and meaningful for children. One of Bri’s favorite things about teaching is encouraging children to think creatively, believe in themselves, and discover what they are capable of. Guided by her favorite quote, “Magic happens when you don’t give up, even when you want to. The universe always falls in love with a stubborn heart,” Bri believes that perseverance, creativity, and encouragement help children develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

Ms. Jayden has been working in the early childhood education field since 2023 and holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is passionate about creating meaningful relationships that help children build confidence, discover new skills, and develop a love of learning in a supportive and encouraging environment. Jayden’s favorite part of teaching is celebrating each child’s milestones, watching them grow, and creating joyful memories that make every day rewarding. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys hiking, fishing, cooking, and spending time outdoors exploring nature. A fun fact about Jayden is that she spent 15 years dancing ballet, tap, and lyrical, and has also participated in shooting sports, including archery. One of her favorite children’s books is The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo because of its powerful messages of love, resilience, compassion, and personal growth. Guided by her favorite quote, “The purpose of our lives is to be happy,” Jayden believes that kindness, connection, and joyful learning help children feel valued, supported, and confident as they grow.

Hi, I’m Kim, the Curriculum Director here at AcademyOne Childcare & Preschool. I’ve been in Early Childhood Education field since 2011 and am currently working on my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, after earning my Associate’s degree in the field. My role as Curriculum Director allows me the incredible opportunity to watch children, families, and staff grow together. It’s such a rewarding feeling to be part of an environment where everyone is continually learning and evolving, and I’m proud to contribute to that.

One of the things I love most about working at AcademyOne is seeing the resilience and dedication of both our families and teachers. I’m truly fortunate to work alongside such amazing people who are as passionate about early childhood education as I am. It makes me proud to be a part of this team.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, and cooking. I find peace in spending time in nature and creating delicious meals for my family. Fun fact: I’m left-handed, which often surprises people!

One of my favorite children’s books is There’s a Monster at the End of This Book, Leonardo the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems – it’s a classic and always brings a smile to my face. My personal favorite quote is: “Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best they can possibly be.” — Rita Pierson. This quote truly resonates with me, as I believe every child deserves to have a champion who believes in them and encourages them to reach their full potential.

Ms. Emmy has been working in the early childhood education field since 2023 and serves as a Float Teacher at AcademyOne. She holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and enjoys supporting children of all ages while creating meaningful relationships and positive learning experiences. Emmy loves getting to know each child’s unique personality and helping them feel confident, valued, and excited to learn. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys painting, spending time with friends, and working on creative craft projects that allow her to express her creativity. A fun fact about Emmy is that she previously worked at a dog kennel, where her love for animals made it one of her favorite experiences outside of education. One of her favorite children’s books is There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat because of its humor, silliness, and the excitement it brings to story time. Guided by her favorite quote, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken,” Emmy believes every child deserves to feel accepted, celebrated, and encouraged to embrace what makes them unique while growing in confidence and curiosity.

Ms. Abby has been working in early childhood education since 2018 and brings kindness, compassion, and enthusiasm to the AcademyOne team. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel loved, valued, and encouraged to be their authentic selves.

Abby enjoys helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning while celebrating the unique personality each child brings to the classroom. She believes every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and capable as they learn and grow.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys cooking and baking for family and friends, trying new recipes, and sharing homemade treats with the people she cares about. Ms. Lala has been working in early childhood education since 2010 and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and compassion to the AcademyOne team. She holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and Chemistry Teaching and is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow.

Lala enjoys building trusting relationships with children and families while supporting each child’s natural curiosity, creativity, and love of learning. She believes every child is unique and deserves to be celebrated for their individual strengths and personality.

Outside of work, Lala enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and rescuing animals. She also loves creating tiny fairy gardens and sharing them with children. Her favorite children’s book is Pete the Cat and His Groovy Buttons because of its positive message about staying optimistic and flexible when things don’t go as planned. Lala’s warmth, dedication, and years of experience help create a welcoming environment where children can thrive.

Ms. Lily joined the early childhood education field in 2026 and is currently working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She is also attending Columbus State Community College, where she is pursuing a degree in Social Work. Lily is passionate about building meaningful relationships with children and helping them grow through positive learning experiences.

Her favorite part about working at AcademyOne is the connections she makes with children each day and watching them learn new skills, reach milestones, and grow in confidence. She values the supportive environment and encouragement she receives from her coworkers.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys pottery, attending concerts, spending time with family and pets, and baking sweet treats. Ms.Kayla has been working in early childhood education since 2014 and brings years of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to the AcademyOne team. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Kayla is passionate about supporting children’s growth and helping them build confidence through meaningful learning experiences.

One of Kayla’s favorite parts of teaching is witnessing those exciting “aha” moments when a child learns something new and truly understands it. She enjoys helping children make connections, solve problems, and gain confidence as they grow and develop.

Ms. Aryana has been a passionate educator in the early childhood education field since 2019. She has earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, which represents a nationally recognized achievement demonstrating expertise in nurturing the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development of young children. Currently, Aryana is advancing her education by pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse (RN), showcasing her dedication to caregiving and making a difference in people’s lives.

Aryana’s favorite aspect of working with children is the opportunity to build strong, meaningful bonds with them. She finds joy in being a positive presence during their formative years, believing that the connections she creates with each child help them feel valued and understood.

An avid learner, Aryana loves reading and journaling, both of which inspire her creativity and curiosity. Hello, I’m Bojana Simic Augustyniak, the proud owner of AcademyOne Childcare & Preschool. With over 20 years in early childhood education, I began my journey in the corporate world of early childhood education, where I held many leadership roles. In 2011, I took the leap to open my own school, AcademyOne, where my passion for providing exceptional care and learning opportunities for children truly took shape.

Throughout my career, I’ve always been driven by a deep commitment to creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. At AcademyOne, we’ve built a community of dedicated educators, engaged children, and supportive families, and I feel privileged to be part of each child’s growth and learning journey.

I believe in fostering enriching, positive experiences that support children’s development academically, socially, and emotionally. I am proud to guide such a dedicated team, and I remain passionate about providing the best possible foundation for every child’s future.

Ms. Morgan has been working in early childhood education since 2020 and brings positivity, dedication, and a caring spirit to the AcademyOne team. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive.

Outside of work, Morgan is a proud mom of three energetic boys. She enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, spending time with her family, and finding opportunities to learn something new.
