Ms.Kayla has been working in early childhood education since 2014 and brings years of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to the AcademyOne team. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Kayla is passionate about supporting children’s growth and helping them build confidence through meaningful learning experiences.

One of Kayla’s favorite parts of teaching is witnessing those exciting “aha” moments when a child learns something new and truly understands it. She enjoys helping children make connections, solve problems, and gain confidence as they grow and develop.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and hosting game nights. She also has a unique collection of rubber ducks that has grown over the years. Her favorite children’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright because of its message of friendship, acceptance, and finding where you belong. Kayla’s positive attitude, dedication, and love for learning help create a classroom where children feel encouraged, supported, and successful.
