Ms. Kata has been a part of the early childhood education field since 2021. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Kata’s passion lies in nurturing, teaching, and loving on her toddlers—she finds joy in creating a safe and caring environment where they can grow and thrive.

When she’s not at AcademyOne, you can find Ms. Kata playing soccer or tending to her garden, where she loves watching things grow—both on the field and in her backyard! A fun fact about Ms. Kata: she’s a proud mom to a wonderful daughter who inspires her every day.

Her favorite children’s book is Llama Llama Misses Mama, a story she enjoys reading with her little ones. Ms. Kata is fluent in Spanish, which helps her connect with families and children from diverse backgrounds. Her favorite quote is from Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” a guiding principle she brings into her teaching.
